Sports Nutrition Level Competency Assessment Test

The Sports Nutrition Level Competency Assessment Test was developed according to the internal standards of the Swedish Academy of Sport Training (SAST) to evaluate theoretical competencies across various fields of sports science.
This electronic test provides a direct assessment of your theoretical knowledge gained from practical experience and determines your level according to approved training standards.

The term “competency” refers to the set of knowledge, skills, and experience required to perform training tasks efficiently and professionally.
The theoretical scientific competency test focuses on the fundamental elements of knowledge in sports and health sciences and covers the most important topics related to the targeted training level.

Importance of the Test

1. Allows you to determine your theoretical scientific level in the fields of sports and health.
2. Provides successful candidates the opportunity to skip an academic phase or training level and advance directly to a higher level.
3. Offers a training certificate documenting the candidate’s theoretical experience in the sports and health field.
4. An accredited certificate for the tested level can be obtained directly for USD 150 without completing the full study program.

Anyone with the desire and ambition to enter the field of sports and health training.

Test Procedure

All theoretical exams at the Swedish Academy of Sport Training are conducted through the academy’s online platform, using a random selection from the question bank corresponding to the targeted level, with automatic and immediate grading, and the result displayed immediately upon completion.

Test Plan and Passing Criteria

1. The student can take the test immediately after registration.
2. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass the test.
3. The test consists of 20 multiple-choice questions, with four suggested answers for each question.
4. The duration of the test is 20 minutes.
5. Each student is allowed a maximum of two attempts to achieve a passing score.

Graduation Certificate

Upon successfully passing the test, the student receives an accredited certificate documenting the achieved training level.
The certificate is sent directly to the student’s email address and stored in the student’s profile on the academy’s platform.
