Course Information

  1. The Strategic Management in Sports course from the Swedish Academy of Sport Training (SAST) provides an advanced understanding of the principles and tools needed to plan and manage sports facilities and teams efficiently. The course covers leadership strategies, long-term planning, decision-making, and resource management to achieve optimal performance and sustainable success in sports environments. It is designed to equip participants with both practical and theoretical knowledge to develop their skills in managing sports organizations and teams, enhancing organizational efficiency, and making strategic decisions based on scientific and objective analysis. The course is suitable for anyone interested in sports management, with no prior experience required.

Duration:
The course includes 56 study hours, to be completed within a maximum of 3 months from the registration date. The course is online and includes the theoretical material, course book, training videos, and audio lectures via the Academy’s platform. Students will also complete quizzes for each chapter as well as a final theoretical exam on the Swedish Academy platform.

Exams and Passing Requirements:
All theoretical exams at SAST are conducted online through the platform, with random questions from a question bank based on the course curriculum. Results are displayed immediately after completion, following a clear pass/fail system for each course.

Quarterly Quizzes:

Students must pass mandatory quizzes for each chapter before attempting the final exam.

  1. Each quiz contains up to 10 multiple-choice questions.
  2. Exam duration is based on the number of questions (1 minute per question).
  3. Passing grade for each quiz is 80%.
  4. Quizzes can be retaken an unlimited number of times.

The final exam cannot be taken until all quizzes are successfully completed.

Final Theoretical Exam:

  1. Students may take the final exam only after passing all mandatory quizzes.
  2. A minimum score of 60% is required to pass the final exam.
  3. The final exam includes 50 multiple-choice questions, each with four options.
  4. Duration: 50 minutes.
  5. Each student is allowed up to two attempts.
  6. Students who fail both attempts can request an additional attempt for USD 50 per try.

Graduation Certificate:
Upon completion of the course and successful passing of all exams, students receive a course completion certificate sent directly to their email and stored in their personal profile on the Academy platform. The certificate is officially accredited and endorsed by:

  1. Swedish Academy of Sport Training (SAST)
  2. Global Council of Sport Science (GCSS)
  3. International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE)
  4. Ministère de la Formation Professionnelle et de l’Emploi (MFPE) – for Tunisian students
